Senior Sourcing & Contracts Specialist

Summary:

Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical based in West Dublin, is seeking a Sourcing & Contracts Specialist to support sourcing and contracting activities for manufacturing process equipment. This role will play a key part in ensuring the procurement of equipment aligned with project and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing activities for manufacturing process equipment within a regulated environment.
• Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, tendering, evaluation, and contract award.
• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts with equipment vendors and service providers.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and technical stakeholders to define procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and industry regulations.
• Support supplier relationship management and performance monitoring.
• Contribute to cost optimisation and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience within the life sciences sector preferred.
• Familiarity with large-scale capital projects or equipment procurement.
• Proven experience in sourcing and contracting manufacturing process equipment.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes within a regulated environment.
