Summary:
Our client is a pharmaceutical company based in Tipperary looking for a Reliability and Maintenance Engineer who will develop preventative maintenance schedules & routines for new equipment in the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with vendors to determine maintenance strategy for new GMP equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance routines to ensure equipment reliability.
- Establish and maintain KPIs for equipment performance, analyzing data to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with vendors and service providers to align with business needs.
- Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure maintenance strategies comply with GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operations and quality teams to ensure maintenance activities align with production needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for equipment efficiency and cost reduction.
- Ensure a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of capital/expense projects.
- Track and report progress as required against deliverables.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have as a minimum a 3rd level qualification in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working in Pharm/Bio Pharm industry with experience in maintenance, engineering and project management practices.
- Proven knowledge, appreciation and experience of working in strongly regulated GMP environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of the customer/client relationship involved in project management.
- Excellent communication /presentation skills.
- Superior organizational and planning skills.
