Permit Issuers

Summary:
Our client is a pharmaceutical company based in East Waterford looking for a Permit Issuers to support the issuance and management of permitted work activities across the site.

Responsibilities:

• Support the issuance and management of permitted work activities across the sites.
• Independent review of the scope, risk assessment, personnel training, insurances etc ahead of issuing the permit to allow the work to progress.
• Complete daily Gembas to field verify controls are being adhered to.
• Involved in pre-job walkdowns and assessments to ensure all risks are identified and addressed in the relevant permits.
• Coach project engineers on the completion of permit request forms to ensure all documentation is submitted 100% RFT.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Qualification and experience in construction.
• Good knowledge of GDP and hazard identifications in the field.
• Authority to stop work and deal with any area stand downs as a result of permit non-compliances.
• Proved track record for delivering on commitments and driving performance.
