Summary:
Our client, a biopharmaceutical company based in East Cork, is seeking a Packaging Equipment Engineer to support equipment lifecycle management and reliability initiatives on-site. The successful candidate will play a key role in spare parts management, preventive maintenance optimisation, and equipment change control. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams and external vendors, with a strong focus on improving equipment uptime in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Equipment Spare parts management system in collaboration with Maintenance Team.
- Source & identify equipment spare parts with appropriate equipment
- Collaborating with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance
- Review current PM tasks and schedules in line with equipment downtime trends to identify & implement changes to improve equipment up time.
- Implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Complete site change management activities for the modification of

Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in a relevant science/engineering
- 2-3 years (minimum) of engineering experience within a Pharmaceutical

- Understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements of the Pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
