Summary:
An Operational Excellence Team Lead is required for a biopharmaceutical company in Kildare.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the Operational Excellence Team, the candidate will support the facility by providing expertise in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to ensure we meet our supply commitments and deliver life-changing medicines to our patients and our customers in a compliant and efficient way.
  • As a change agent, the candidate will be responsible for promoting new ways of working in order to create an environment that is change agile, helping to drive the creation of a culture of continuous improvement, innovation and learning at all levels within the site.
  • Training and mentoring of colleagues in Operational Excellence tools and techniques to enable problem solving across all levels of the organization is fundamental to the role.
  • The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and passionate about people, operations and leading change.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment where learning and personal development are actively encouraged, the candidate will find the role both challenging and rewarding.Qualifications & Experience:
  • Relevant Degree.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, working on business transformation projects in a complex multi-disciplined environment.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading Black Belt projects of significant size and scope using lean six sigma methodologies, resulting in quantifiable business benefit.
  • Experience in training and coaching candidates completing lean and six sigma projects .
  • An understanding of and proficiency in Change Management Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with different audiences.
  • Primary degree in a relevant field of study Proficient in the use of Office 365 applications – Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
  • Formal project management qualifications e.g. Prince2, PMP is desirable.
