Delta V Technical Lead

Summary:

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in Tipperary, is seeking a Delta V Technical Lead. The ideal candidate will be required to work closely with the teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of Delta V DCS.

Responsibilities:

• Write User requirements for Delta V modules.
• Review and Approve related Design Documentation.
• Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the Delta V system.
• Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development.
• Participate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing.
• Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test).
• Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output.
• Configuring and testing in development system as required.
• Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
• Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with our client’s Standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
• Training completed in Delta V standard and batch.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Delta V application.
• Experience commissioning Delta V systems in GMP manufacturing facilities.
• Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.
• Excellent understanding of cGMP’s, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles.
